The Law and Justice Academy would like to congratulate Kyle Lewis on obtaining a full ride scholarship to Northwestern University through the Questbridge College Match.

Deer Valley Law Academy student, Kiara Chatman (12) wins Contra Costa County Poetry Out Loud recitation competition two years in a row.  Accepted to Georgetown University!

Academic Competitions and Awards



DVLJA 11th and 12th grade students perform in academic competitions such as Model UN and Mock Trial. The Mock Trial team is prepping now for county trials in February. The MUN students compete at DVC, Santa Clara Valley, and UC Davis.

Boys and Girls State

DVLJA students once again represented DVHS as the American Legion Boys State and the American Legion Girls State at intense one week summer programs developing leadership skills and gaining an appreciation for rights as citizens.


Congradulations to 2016 Representatives Kiara Chatman and Kyle Lewis, the academy is so proud of you! The 2017 Reps are Brandon Rizotta and Macy Mehdioun. Make us proud again.
