Incoming 9th Grade Information

All incoming freshmen at Antioch schools have met with High School Counselors for course selection. You may view the course selection sheet here in English or Spanish ***will be updated soon. 

Please note: incoming freshmen choices are limited to their elective.

All freshmen take English 9, Math, Biology, PE I, and Health/College and Career Seminar

 

1st period classes are not guaranteed for any student. Requests can be made for first period, but a request does not guarantee a class. 


Academy Specific Freshmen Required Classes

Law Academy – Foundations of Law

Performing Arts Academy – One Performing Arts Elective

Bio-Technology Pathway – Principles of Biomedical Sciences

 

 

NOTE FOR INCOMING STUDENTS NOT CURRENTLY AT ANTIOCH SCHOOLS

 

If your student is currently at a private school or academy, but you live within Antioch School District boundaries, please pick up an enrollment packet in the DVHS main office. An appointment for course requests will be scheduled after the enrollment is complete.

 

If you are coming from out of the district, a completed and signed inter-district transfer needs to be submitted to the DVHS main office before enrollment can begin.  

LINK CREW


Incoming Freshman participate in an Orientation to DVHS provided by our Student Link Crew program. Link Crew Orientation will happen prior to the start of school in August. Check back for dates times and additional information!
